Location: On the A5011 Linley Lane, Alsager on the left-hand side of the road, when travelling in the direction of Alsager town.

Enforcement Length: Runs 320 metres North of Linley Road to 320 metres South of Linley Road.

Speed Limit: 50 mph

Notes: This camera joined the National Safety Camera Programme in  April 2004. Within this stretch of road there have been 22 collisions over three years resulting in 47 casualties. Speed surveys show that 6 % of traffic exceeds the speed limit. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the 50 mph speed limit whilst travelling on a high-speed rural road.
