Camera type: Red light camera

Location: On the A5117 Arterial Road at its junction with Pool Lane, Elton Green adjacent to a petrochemical plant.

Notes: This camera monitors traffic travelling through the traffic lights from the direction of Ellesmere Port in the direction of Hapsford. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the traffic lights, on a high speed road and busy junction. This site was introduced by the highway authority as a safety measure before the start of the safety camera programme. As such we do not have the casualty and speed details for this site.
