Camera type: Red Light Camera.

Location: At the junction of A523 The Silk Road with Mill Lane, Macclesfield.

Notes: This camera monitors traffic travelling through the traffic lights from the direction of Leek in the direction of Macclesfield town centre. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the traffic signals on a busy junction. This site was introduced by the Highway Authority as a safety measure before the start of the Safety Camera Programme. As such we do not have the casualty and speed details for this site.
