Camera type: Static red light camera.

Location: On A527 Park lane junction with Lawton Street, Congleton in the central reserve.

Notes: This camera joined the National Safety Camera Programme in September 2004.   This camera monitors traffic travelling through the traffic lights from the direction of Congleton town centre in the direction of Biddulph. At this location there have been five collisions over three years resulting in nine casualties. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the traffic lights in the built up area of Congleton town centre.
