Location: On the left-hand side of the road of the A556 Chester Road, Over Tabley when travelling in the direction of Chester, between A50 Warrington Road and M6 motorway.

Enforcement Length: Runs between 700 metres north of Moss Lane to 300 metres south of Moss Lane

Speed Limit: 50 mph / 40 mph over 7.5 tonnes for HGVs

Notes: This camera joined the National Safety Camera Programme in April 2003.  Within this stretch of road there have been 8 collisions over 3 years resulting in 17 casualties. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the 50mph speed limit on a 2 lane single carriageway road. This road is subject to significant HGV traffic (with 40 mph limit).
