Location: On the A556 Chester Road, Mere, on the left hand side of the road when travelling in the direction of Manchester, between its junctions with A50 Warrington Road, and A5034 Mereside Road.

Speed Limit: 50 mph

Notes: The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the 50mph speed limit on a 2 lane single carriageway road. This road is subject to significant HGV traffic (with 40mph limit) between M6 and M56. This site was introduced by the highway authority as a safety measure before the start of the safety camera programme. As such we do not have the casualty and speed details for this site.
