Enforcement Length: Runs between Deans Lane and the M6 overbridge.

Notes: This camera joined the National Safety Camera Programme in  April 2003 . Within this stretch of road there have been 13 collisions over three years resulting in 22 casualties. Speed surveys show that 64% of traffic exceeds the speed limit. The aim of enforcement is to ensure compliance with the 40mph speed limit on the approach to a series of bends in an urban area, coming from high-speed rural roads.
