Location: On the left-hand side of the carriageway when travelling in the direction of Shavington from Hough.

Enforcement Length: Runs from 90 metres west of Pit Lane to 640 metres west of Chorlton Lane.

Speed Limit: 40 mph

Notes: This camera joined the National Safety Camera Programme in April 2003.  Within this stretch of road there have been 8 collisions over 3 years resulting in 15 casualties. Speed surveys show that 55 % of traffic exceeds the speed limit. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the 40 mph speed limit on approach to a village from high-speed rural road.
