Notes: This camera is due to join the National Safety Camera Programme in 2005/2006. Within this stretch of road there have been 9 collisions over 3 years resulting in 12 casualties. Speed surveys show that 64% of traffic exceeds the speed limit. The aim of the camera is to ensure compliance with the 30 mph speed limit in an urban area, on a downhill gradient before traffic enters a residential area.
